We either bring your video into CEDR for you or provide you with tools to manage the process yourself. The way we ingest your video is dependent on; your video format (whether they are electronic files, DVDs, or streams for example), the number of video assets you have, and the desired output formats:

• Electronic files: For small numbers of videos, our up-loader brings files directly into your CEDR account and allows you to attach required metadata. For larger numbers of videos, you can use our helper application, file transfer protocol (FTP), or we can provide you with an application programming interface (API) that will allow you to use XML posts for videos and metadata.
• Streams: Just provide us with the location of your Internet stream or have us acquire your satellite signal, and we will capture any program or programs that you specify. We bring these captured videos into CEDR and give you an interface to provide metadata.
• Hard Media: We can handle most any standard media like DVD or SP Beta tape. Once you ship us your hard media, we process it and bring the files into CEDR along with metadata.
